Exceptionally Legal Criminals
Donald Trump has been firing out ”signing statements” like an action hero faced with a charging army. Signing statements are laws dictated by the president, but not called a law because the Constitution of the United States specifically states that the president may not make laws. Congress is supposed to make the laws and the president’s job is to execute them.
In other words Signing statements legalise dictatorial behavior the way lobbying legalises bribery.
Make Autocrats Govern Again,
without calling it a dictatorship.
