We go to school to be told what is important, what to believe, what is the truth, how to act, and what the rules are.
The knowledge acquired in school has as much influence on our intelligence as driving experience has on the quality of the car. Knowing the names of every player in the NBA doesn’t improve basketball ability. Knowledge and intelligence are two different facilities of the mind. A hand can’t do what a foot can do, and a toe can’t do what a finger can do.
We are schooled to know what the rulers want us to know. They don’t know the depths of their own intellectual poverty, how can they understand the experience of people struggling with reality.
They don’t even know what intelligence is. They can’t define it. Ask any authority from Professor Allknowing, thru Wikipedia to CHATgpt! You will witness an inability to explain the nature of intelligence. Instead, you will be served a description of what intelligence accomplishes. The arrogance implanted by schooling, doesn’t allow the authorities to say, ”I don’t know.”

WordBook’s definition of intelligentsia exposes the weakness of the intelligentsia’s intelligence. The definition regards the intelligentsia ”as possessing culture and political influence”. ”possessing culture!” There it is, boys and girls, in big bold letters: The intelligentsia doesn’t know the meaning of culture.
There is not a group larger than a single person that doesn’t ”possess culture.” From hunter-gatherers in a jungle environment; the street-smart inhabitants of the hoods and towns; or executives in cloud-high offices, everyone possesses a culture. Why not mention that everyone possesses a nose? And that some of them are up their own sphincter ani externus (Latin for “asshole”) speaking of the scent of roses.
The intelligentsia has the political influence of a prostitute over her pimp. They are paid well as the knights of the empire, but their influence on their superiors is that of a sword’s influence on the skill of the samurai.
Allow me to use the USA to illustrate…
School 1 teaches geography and requires the students to memorize the names and capitals of all the 50 states from ocean to ocean. Those who are best at memorising are rewarded with something and status.
School 2 is ”exceptional” and requires each student to adopt a digital cousin in a different part of the country and learn from each other about ”Sames” and ”Differents”. What’s common and what’s unique. Learn about hopes and fears; relatives and friends; experiences, troubles, successes, dreams and desires. Groups in workshops can then discuss and compare their digital cousins.
Which of the two schools just mentioned schools the students and which one teaches them? Whose students are better equipped to deal with reality? Why are 99% of our children schooled to think with their memory instead of being educated to power their thinking with their heart?
School 1 exemplifies schools in general, from kindergartens to universities. The Ph.Ds regardless of their subject, are schooled to believe that they are exceptionally smart and consequently superior. They are taught to be prestigious intellectual racists. The chosen students; the elite smarties; the well-paid “intelligent” servants of the rulers.
Intelligence is the power to choose. It’s our choice if we want to think with the memory of what the rulers have told us, or think with our hearts about what promotes the health and well-being of our family, the Homo sapiens. Think about that! Intelligently.
